What personal data we collect and why we collect it
KPRO AB (the ‘Company’), uses cookies on this website (www.kpro.se). In doing so, we collect certain personal data about users and user behaviour on our website in order to improve our services and information channels. Consent to data processing is obtained from each individual when using our website.
Below is a description of the different cases and situations that generate personal data and how we work to ensure your privacy.
Cookies when using the website
A cookie is a text-based file that is placed on your computer, mobile phone or tablet with information about your navigation on the website. There are temporary cookies and persistent cookies. Temporary cookies, also known as session cookies, are stored on your device until you close your browser. Persistent cookies have an expiry date and once this date has passed, the cookie is deleted when you return to the website that created it. Cookies can be ‘first-party cookies’ or ‘third-party cookies’. First-party cookies are cookies that are set on the website by the Company. Third-party cookies are cookies set on the website by someone other than the Company.
What specific cookies are used on this website and for what purpose?
The cookies we use on our website are specified below, along with information about their purpose, the personal data collected, their duration and who manages the cookie.
Can I say no to cookies?
If you do not want to allow cookies to be stored on your device, you can usually switch this off in part or in full in your browser settings. For example, in some browsers you can choose to block all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or delete cookies when you close your browser. You can also delete previously stored cookies in your browser settings. Please note that if you choose to delete or block cookies, you may not be able to use our website and services.
Comments on the website
When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the information displayed in the comment form as well as the visitor's IP address and user agent string to help detect spam messages.
Communication via contact forms
When using contact forms, we save personal data such as name, telephone, email address and company. This information is saved as a message so that a Company employee can take care of your case and get back to you. The data is stored as long as the case is active and then deleted. If the interaction leads to a business relationship, data regarding this will be saved in the Company's business system for as long as the relationship remains.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect information about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with said embedded content, including tracking your interaction with this embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to the website in question.
Analysis and further development
The Company uses Google Analytics to track and analyse the behaviour of our website visitors. The purpose of tracking is to further develop the functioning of the website and ensure a good user experience in the future. The privacy policy for Google Analytics can be found here: https://support.google.com/analytics/topic/2919631
Who may we share your personal data with?
The personal data collected through third-party cookies will also be disclosed to the third party providing the cookie. The Company takes all necessary legal, technical and organisational measures to ensure that your personal data is handled securely and with an adequate level of protection when transferred to or shared with such selected third parties.
The Company may also disclose your personal data to public authorities if we are required to do so by law. In the event that all or part of the Company's business is sold, the Company may transfer your personal data to a potential buyer of the business.
How long we keep your data
If you post a comment, the comment and its metadata will be stored indefinitely. The reason for this is that we need to be able to find and approve follow-up comments automatically and not queue them for review.
Transfer of personal data outside the EU/EEA
Your personal data will only be processed within the EU/EEA and you will therefore have full privacy protection under the GDPR Regulation without exception.
Your rights
If you have an account or have posted any comments on this website, you can request an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including any information you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Making a complaint or enquiry
If you have a complaint about the Company's processing of your personal data, you have the right to lodge such a complaint with the Data Protection Authority. If you have any questions or wish to make a request for an extract from the register, rectification, erasure, objection or restriction, please contact the Company's Data Protection Officer.
