Prototypes

It's easy to see the prototype phase as a cost, but at KPRO we see it as an investment that pays off. On an annual basis, we currently produce around 400 articles in our prototype process, which is staffed by experienced operators. They verify that the build method works in relation to component selection, assembly instructions are developed which creates the conditions for success in series production, and when needed, assembly fixtures are manufactured that make it difficult to assemble incorrectly. All work is carried out in a structured manner according to a detailed checklist with close to 40 control questions. The prototype operators work closely with our technical sales staff and also participate in some dialogues with customers. If our customers require PPAP, it is integrated into the process.
